Acceptance of Terms
By using https://pianoacademy.co and affiliated services (“Site”), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and hereby waive certain rights to litigate as described below. If you disagree, do not use our Site or services.
1. Eligibility & Audience
Our services are intended for users age 13 and up. Parents/guardians must consent for minors. By using our Site, you represent you have authority to enter these Terms.
2. Intellectual Property
All content is owned by Piano Academy of Florida, Inc. or its licensors. No content may be copied, distributed, or repurposed except for personal use, without written permission.
3. Permitted Use
You agree not to:
Republish, commercially exploit, or resell materials from this Site.
Introduce viruses, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt system integrity.
Use data mining, scraping, or reverse engineering.
4. Enrollment, Payment, Cancellations
All bookings are subject to our Academy policies—which may change—and availability.
Prepaid tuition, fees, and registration are required. Non-payment results in immediate termination of lessons.
Refunds: All fees are non-refundable except where expressly stated or required by law. Missed lessons are non-refundable; makeups are at our sole discretion.
Cancellations: 24-hour notice required to reschedule private lessons. No guarantee of group makeups. Written withdrawal required.
5. Student Safety & Conduct
Respectful, safe conduct is mandatory. Disruptive, illegal, or unsafe behavior is grounds for immediate dismissal without refund or liability.
Minors must be supervised by a parent/guardian outside of lesson times.
The Academy is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
ALL CONTENT, LESSONS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING SUITABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW:
PIANO ACADEMY OF FLORIDA, INC. AND ITS STAFF, INSTRUCTORS, OWNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ACCESS OR USE OF THIS SITE OR SERVICES.
LIABILITY IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER FOR SERVICES IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT.
YOU AGREE NOT TO PURSUE ANY CLAIM FOR DAMAGES OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS DIRECTLY RESULTING FROM OUR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Piano Academy of Florida, Inc., its staff and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or suits (including attorneys’ fees) resulting from your violation of these Terms, negligence, or unlawful conduct.
9. Mandatory Arbitration
ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS, SITE, OR SERVICES SHALL BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION, RATHER THAN IN COURT, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW.
Arbitration shall be conducted in Palm Beach County, Florida.
You waive the right to participate as a class representative or class member in any class or consolidated action.
Except for small claims or injunctive relief, arbitration is the exclusive forum.
10. Waiver of Jury Trial
YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY DISPUTE ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF THIS SITE OR SERVICES.
11. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by Florida law. All actions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts and arbitrators in Palm Beach County, Florida, USA.
12. Modifications
Terms may be updated anytime. Changes take effect upon posting and apply to all subsequent interactions.
13. General Protections
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
